Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the translation service "DaTrans" (the "Service") provided by "Touchizen" (the "Company"). This Service utilizes the Google Cloud Translation API (the "External Translation Service") to offer translation results to users. By agreeing to these Terms, users are permitted to use the Service.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to stipulate the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the Company and users in connection with the use of the Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "Service" refers to the translation results and related services provided by the Company through the External Translation Service.

2. "User" refers to any person who accesses the Service and receives the services provided by the Company under these Terms.

3. "External Translation Service" refers to the Google Cloud Translation API provided by Google.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of the Terms)

1. These Terms come into effect when they are posted on the Service’s website or otherwise disclosed to Users.

2. The Company may amend these Terms due to changes in relevant laws, business policies, or the Service environment. Amended Terms will take effect once they are announced in the manner specified in paragraph 1 above.

3. If a User does not agree to the amended Terms, the User may discontinue using the Service. If the User continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, such continued use shall be deemed as the User’s acceptance of the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Provision and Changes to the Service)

1. The Company provides Users with translation results by utilizing the External Translation Service.

2. The translation results are generated by the External Translation Service and may vary in accuracy, reliability, and availability. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of the translation results, and the interpretation and utilization of such results are solely at the User’s responsibility.

3. The Company may change the content, format, or access method of the Service for improvements, changes to the External Translation Service, or technological advancements, and will provide prior notice of such changes.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

1. Users shall comply with these Terms, relevant laws, public order, and good morals, and shall not infringe upon the rights or reputation of others while using the Service.

2. Users shall not engage in reverse engineering, unauthorized reproduction, creation of derivative works, or other improper use of the Service.

Article 6 (Personal Information Protection)

The Company will process Users’ personal information in compliance with the Company’s Privacy Policy and applicable laws. For details, please refer to the separately posted Privacy Policy.

Article 7 (Fees, Payment, and Refund Policy)

1. Fees, payment methods, and refund policies related to the use of the Service are posted on the Service’s information page.

2. The refund policy allows refunds only if requested within 7 days of payment. However, if any usage of the External Translation Service has occurred, an amount corresponding to such usage may be deducted.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from errors, delays, interruptions, or force majeure events (natural disasters, war, terrorism, government regulations, etc.) related to the External Translation Service.

2. The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from decisions, transactions, legal proceedings, or other actions taken based on the interpretation and use of the translation results.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights)

1. All works, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property rights contained in the Service are owned by the Company or the respective rights holders.

2. Users may not use the information obtained from the Service for commercial purposes or provide it to third parties without prior consent.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)

1. The Company and Users shall endeavor to resolve disputes arising from the use of the Service through mutual consultation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute may be brought before a competent court in accordance with applicable laws.

2. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
